Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus kneels beside a small child who is lying on a low bed. The child's eyes are closed, and Jesus has placed one hand on the child's forehead. A mother stands nearby with her hands clasped, watching with a mix of hope and fear. The room is simple — a clay lamp on a small table, a window with soft light coming through. This page captures the intimacy of a healing miracle in a private home, not a public square. The child's small figure, the mother's posture, and the quiet room give kids a page that feels tender and close.
Suggested Scripture: Mark 5:41 (NIV) — He took her by the hand and said to her, "Talitha koum!" (which means "Little girl, I say to you, get up!").
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what they think the mother was praying for as she watched Jesus. Most will say "please heal my child." Then ask what she did when she heard Jesus was nearby.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. A little girl was very sick. Her father asked Jesus to help. Jesus came and healed her. He cares about children.
- For Sunday school: focus on Jairus — a synagogue leader who fell at Jesus' feet. Ask, "What does it say about Jesus that a powerful man would kneel before Him for his daughter's sake?"
- For family devotion: read Mark 5:21–43. Ask, "Has our family ever been desperate enough to fall at Jesus' feet for someone we love?"
Print and activity tips
- Color the room in warm, soft tones — this is a home, and it should feel like one.
- Keep the child's face peaceful; this isn't a scene of suffering, it's a scene of healing about to happen.
- Color the mother's clothing in muted tones that suggest a long night of worry.
Discussion questions
- Jairus was important and powerful, but he still fell at Jesus' feet. What does desperation do to pride?
- Jesus told the crowd the girl was only sleeping. They laughed at Him. Have you ever been laughed at for believing something true?
- Jesus took the girl by the hand and spoke to her. What does that tell you about how gentle He is?
- Have you ever prayed urgently for someone who was sick? What happened?
- If Jesus walked into a room where someone you loved was sick, what would you want to say to Him?
