Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus stands before a man who is seated on the ground with his eyes closed. Jesus reaches out and places both hands gently on the man's face. A small crowd watches from behind — some curious, some skeptical. The setting is a simple road with low stone walls on either side. This page captures one of the most vivid healing miracles in the Gospels. The man's posture of trust, the crowd's varied expressions, and the textures of the road and walls give kids detailed work while Jesus' hands on the man's face stay central.
Suggested Scripture: John 9:25 (NIV) — He replied, "Whether he is a sinner or not, I don't know. One thing I do know. I was blind but now I see!"
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what the first thing they would want to see would be if they had been blind their whole life. Most will say their family or the sky.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. The man couldn't see. Jesus touched his eyes, and he could. Jesus makes things new.
- For Sunday school: focus on the man's answer to the Pharisees. He didn't have all the theology figured out — he just knew what happened. Ask, "What's one thing you know for certain about Jesus, even if you can't explain everything?"
- For family devotion: read John 9:1–12. Ask, "What's one area of our lives where we've been 'blind' — and where we need Jesus to open our eyes?"
Print and activity tips
- Color the blind man's clothing in worn, muted tones — he had been sitting on the road for a long time.
- Keep Jesus' expression calm and focused; this isn't a dramatic gesture, just a quiet act of healing.
- Color the crowd in varied tones to show their different reactions — some leaning in, some hanging back.
Discussion questions
- The man said, "I was blind but now I see." What's one thing you used to not understand that you see clearly now?
- Why do you think the Pharisees were upset about this miracle instead of celebrating it?
- Jesus healed this man on the Sabbath. Why do you think He chose that day?
- Have you ever had something opened up in your mind or heart that you couldn't see before?
- If you could ask the healed man one question about that day, what would you ask?
