Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Ten young women stand in two groups outside a doorway. Five of them hold lamps that are burning brightly. The other five hold lamps that are dark, and their faces show worry. The door ahead is lit from inside, and a figure can be seen waiting. This page captures the parable of the ten virgins — five who were ready and five who weren't. The contrast between the lit and unlit lamps, the two groups' expressions, and the warm light from the doorway give kids a page with clear visual storytelling. The lamp details and the varied clothing give kids careful work while the message stays simple and clear.
Suggested Scripture: Matthew 25:13 (NIV) — Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what the difference was between the two groups. Most will say "oil." Then ask what oil represents — readiness, preparation, faith that's been built up over time.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. Five girls were ready when the bridegroom came. Five weren't. Jesus says we should always be ready for Him.
- For Sunday school: focus on the fact that the five foolish virgins couldn't borrow oil. Ask, "Why can't faith be borrowed? What does that tell you about building your own relationship with God?"
- For family devotion: read Matthew 25:1–13. Ask, "What's one way our family can stay 'ready' — not just going through the motions, but keeping our lamps full?"
Print and activity tips
- Color the five burning lamps in bright yellows and oranges; they should glow against the night.
- Color the five dark lamps in grays and blacks — the contrast is the whole visual point.
- Use warm light from the doorway to suggest the celebration inside; it should make the closed door feel both welcoming and final.
