Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Three servants stand before their master. The first holds out a bag of coins and gestures to a table full of more coins behind him — he doubled what he was given. The second holds out a smaller bag with a similar table of extra coins. The third stands with his hands behind his back, looking down — he buried his talent in the ground. The master's expression is warm toward the first two and serious toward the third. The room is simple, with stone walls and a few oil lamps. The contrast between the first two servants' open postures and the third's closed one tells the story before a word is read.
Suggested Scripture: Matthew 25:21 (NIV) — His master replied, "Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things."
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what a "talent" was. Explain it was a large sum of money — but then ask what the word "talent" means today, and how that meaning connects to the parable.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. The master gave each servant something to work with. Two of them used it well. One hid it. Jesus wants us to use what He gives us.
- For Sunday school: focus on the third servant's reason — he was afraid. Ask, "What does fear do to the gifts God gives us?"
- For family devotion: read Matthew 25:14–30. Ask, "What's one gift or ability in our family that we're not using as fully as we could?"
Print and activity tips
- Color the first two servants in brighter, warmer tones — they're the ones the story celebrates.
- Color the third servant in slightly cooler, more muted tones; his posture and coloring should suggest reluctance.
- Use gold and yellow for the coins and bags; they should look valuable.
Discussion questions
- The master gave each servant a different amount. Why do you think he didn't give them all the same?
- The third servant was afraid of losing what he had. Has fear ever stopped you from using a gift you have?
- "Well done, good and faithful servant." What would it mean to hear those words from God?
- What's one talent or gift you have that you could use more fully for God?
- The servants who doubled their talents were given even more. What does that tell you about how God rewards faithfulness?
