Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus kneels on the floor of a simple room, washing the feet of one disciple while others watch from around the room. A basin of water and a towel are nearby. The disciples' expressions vary — some look uncomfortable, some look thoughtful, one (Peter) looks like he's about to protest. The room is plain, with low benches and a simple table in the background. This page captures one of the most humbling moments in the Gospels. The water basin, the towel, the varied faces, and the floor textures give kids detail work while Jesus' kneeling posture stays central.
Suggested Scripture: John 13:14 (NIV) — Now that I, your Lord and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also should wash one another's feet.
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what they think it felt like to have Jesus wash their feet. Most will say "embarrassing" — that's exactly what Peter felt.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. Jesus was the most important person in the room, and He got down on the floor to wash dirty feet. That's what real love looks like.
- For Sunday school: focus on the reversal. The greatest person in the room did the lowest job. Ask, "What's one 'foot-washing' job in your life that you usually avoid?"
- For family devotion: read John 13:1–17. Then do something for each other that feels like foot-washing — a small, humble act of service. Talk about what it felt like afterward.
Print and activity tips
- Color the water basin in cool blues and grays — the water should look clean and still.
- Keep Jesus' robe simple and muted; He's on the floor, not on a throne.
- Color the disciples' feet in natural skin tones; don't shy away from the detail — it's the whole point of the page.
Discussion questions
- Peter didn't want Jesus to wash his feet. Why do you think it's sometimes hard to let someone serve you?
- Jesus said, "You should wash one another's feet." What does that look like in everyday life?
- The disciples had just been arguing about who was the greatest. Then Jesus did this. What do you think they said afterward?
- What's the most humble thing you've ever seen someone do for another person?
- If Jesus knelt down in front of you right now, what would you feel?
