Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus sits on a low stone with several children gathered around Him. Some are climbing onto His lap, others are reaching for His hands, and a few are watching from nearby. Parents stand at the edge of the group, smiling. The setting is a simple courtyard with a few plants and a low wall. This page captures the moment when the disciples tried to keep children away, and Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me." The children's varied poses, the parents' expressions, and the courtyard details give kids rich work while Jesus stays warm and central.
Suggested Scripture: Matthew 19:14 (NIV) — Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids why the disciples tried to stop the children. Most will say "they were busy" or "they thought Jesus was too important." Then ask why Jesus disagreed.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. Jesus loves children. He wants them to come to Him. He's never too busy for you.
- For Sunday school: focus on "the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Ask, "What do children have that adults sometimes lose?"
- For family devotion: read Matthew 19:13–15. Then have each family member bless one other person out loud, the way Jesus blessed the children.
Print and activity tips
- Give each child different skin tones and clothing colors; this scene includes everyone.
- Color the courtyard stones in warm tans and grays; they should feel old and peaceful.
- Keep Jesus' robe in soft, warm tones; He should look approachable, not formal.
Discussion questions
- The disciples thought children were a distraction. Jesus said they were the point. What does that tell you about what God values?
- What do children have that makes them good at receiving God's kingdom?
- Have you ever felt like you were "too small" or "too young" to matter to God?
- Jesus touched the children and blessed them. What's one way you've felt God's touch in your life?
- If you could climb onto Jesus' lap right now, what would you want to tell Him?
