Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus stands with His arms slightly open while a circle of doves flies around Him. Some doves are in mid-flight with wings spread, others are landing on His shoulders and hands. The sky behind is soft and clear, with a few clouds. There's no fear in the birds — they're drawn to Him naturally. This page captures the idea that all creation recognizes Jesus, even the animals. The doves are detailed enough to keep older kids engaged (feathers, wing shapes, flight positions), while Jesus Himself stays simple at the center.
Suggested Scripture: Matthew 10:29 (NIV) — Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father's care.
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids what they know about doves in the Bible. Most will say "Noah's Ark" or "Jesus' baptism." Both are right — doves show up at new beginnings.
- For ages 5–7: focus on the gentleness. The doves aren't scared of Jesus. They know He's safe.
- For Sunday school: use the verse above. If God cares about sparrows (which are worth almost nothing), how much does He care about us?
- For family devotion: read Matthew 10:26–31. Ask, "What's one thing we worry about that we could give to God, knowing He cares?"
Print and activity tips
- Color each dove slightly differently — some in pure white, some with soft gray shading — to suggest movement and depth.
- Keep Jesus' robe in simple, muted tones so the doves stand out around Him.
- Add a faint glow behind Jesus using a yellow pencil pressed lightly; it suggests holy presence without being heavy.
Discussion questions
- Why do you think the doves are drawn flying toward Jesus instead of away from Him?
- Jesus said God cares about sparrows, which are worth almost nothing. What does that tell you about how God sees you?
- Have you ever felt like God was paying attention to something small about you?
- The doves aren't afraid. What does that say about what it's like to be near Jesus?
- If you could be one of these doves for a minute, what would you want to do?
