Create My Child's PageAbout this coloring page
Jesus stands with one arm raised, pointing upward toward the sky. His gaze follows His pointing finger, and His expression is calm and certain. The sky above is open and bright, with a few clouds. The background is simple — just the sky and a soft horizon. There are no other figures. This page captures one of Jesus' most consistent gestures in the Gospels: pointing people back to the Father. The open sky, the single raised arm, and the simple composition give kids a page that feels spacious and directional.
Suggested Scripture: John 14:6 (NIV) — Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
The page is designed as a printable Christian coloring activity that can support a short Bible conversation, a family devotional moment, or a calm classroom activity.

Create a personalized Jesus coloring pageTeaching ideas for parents and teachers
- Before coloring, ask kids where Jesus is pointing. Then ask why He would point up instead of around.
- For ages 5–7: keep it simple. Jesus always pointed people toward God. He said, "I'm the way to get there."
- For Sunday school: focus on John 14:6. Jesus is not just a guide — He is the way itself. Ask, "What's the difference between showing someone the way and being the way?"
- For family devotion: read John 14:1–7. Ask, "What's one thing in our family's life that we need to reorient toward God right now?"
Print and activity tips
- Color the sky in bright, open blues with soft white clouds — it should feel like a clear day, full of possibility.
- Keep Jesus' robe in simple, warm tones; nothing should compete with the upward gesture.
- Add a soft glow at the top of the page where Jesus is pointing — not dramatic, just a suggestion of what's there.
Discussion questions
- Jesus is pointing up. What do you think He's pointing at?
- He said He is the way, the truth, and the life. Which of those three means the most to you right now?
- What does it mean that no one comes to the Father except through Jesus?
- Have you ever had someone point you in a direction that changed where you ended up?
- If Jesus pointed at something in your life right now and said "go that way," what do you think He'd be pointing at?
